Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about plans, storage regions, sharing, teams, billing and support.
Plan FAQs
Plans and Pricing
Free, annual and lifetime plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every account starts with 1 GB of storage for free, with no credit card required. The free plan has the same features as paid plans; only the storage is smaller.
What is a lifetime plan?
A lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no renewals. Your storage stays active for as long as Onlinedrive operates.
What plans are available?
Lite (250 GB), Personal (500 GB), Professional (1 TB), Business (2 TB), Premium (3 TB), Corporate (4 TB), Ultimate (5 TB) and Enterprise (6 TB). Each is available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Start on the free plan or a smaller plan and move up whenever you need more space.
Do you accept redemption codes?
Yes. If you received a code from a partner deal, apply it during checkout or from your account to activate the plan it covers.
Region FAQs
Storage Regions
Where your files live
Which regions can I choose from?
US West (Los Angeles), US East (Virginia), Canada (Montreal), United Kingdom (London), Europe (Frankfurt) and Asia Pacific (Singapore).
Do my files ever leave my region?
No. A drive account is created in one region and its files are stored only there.
Can I move my account to another region?
Regions are fixed per drive account. To store files in a different region, create a drive account in that region and copy the files you need.
Can I have accounts in more than one region?
Yes. One drive account per region, and a customer can hold accounts in several regions.
File FAQs
Files and Sharing
Uploads, previews and links
How big can a single file be?
Up to 5 GB. Uploads are resumable, so an interrupted upload continues where it stopped.
Which files can I preview in the browser?
Over 100 file types, including HD video (MP4, MOV), audio (MP3, WAV), Office documents and PDFs. Images and videos also get thumbnails.
How does link sharing work?
Create a public link for any file or folder. You can add a password, set an expiry date, turn downloads on or off, and get a direct link for embedding.
Can I share with specific people instead?
Yes. Share by email address and choose view or edit permission for each person.
What happens when I delete a file?
It goes to the trash, where you can restore it. Emptying the trash deletes it permanently.
Team FAQs
Teams and Workspaces
Working with other people
Which plans include workspaces?
Professional (3 workspaces, 5 members each), Business (10 and 20), Premium (15 and 35), Corporate (20 and 50), Ultimate (30 and 75) and Enterprise (40 and 100).
What roles are there?
Owner, admin, editor and contributor. Roles control who can manage members and who can add, change or remove files.
How do I add people?
Invite them by email from the workspace. They join as soon as they accept the invitation.
What happens when someone leaves?
Their files stay in the workspace. Ownership belongs to the workspace, not to the individual member.
Billing FAQs
Billing
Payment and cancellation
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards through Stripe, and PayPal.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that the account drops to the free tier and your files are preserved; you just cannot upload more than the free quota until you upgrade again.
Will my price change at renewal?
Lifetime plans never renew. Annual plans renew at the price shown on the pricing page at the time of renewal.
Do you provide invoices?
Yes. Invoices are generated automatically and available in your account.
