Downloading Files

Download files from Onlinedrive to your computer or mobile device.

How to Download

From the File Browser

1. Right-click the file
2. Select Download
3. The file downloads to your default downloads folder

From the File Preview

1. Click on a file to open the preview
2. Click the Download button (down arrow icon) in the top toolbar
3. The file downloads immediately

Download Details

• Files download from your storage region's servers
• Download speed depends on your internet connection and the storage region
• There are no download limits — you can download your files as many times as needed
• The original file is preserved exactly as uploaded

Downloading Shared Files

If someone has shared a file with you:

1. Go to Sharing in the sidebar and open the Shared with me tab
2. Find the file
3. Right-click and select Download

You can also download files from a shared link if the sender has enabled downloads.

Tips

• Downloaded files retain their original name and format
• HEIC files download in their original HEIC format (not the converted JPEG shown in preview)
• Large files may take longer to download depending on your connection speed
