  3. Click Create Account
  4. Pick a plan — every account can start on the Free plan (1 GB) — and choose your storage region, which determines where your files are physically stored
  5. You'll be signed in and taken to your client area

Sign Up with Google

  1. Click Continue with Google on the login or registration page
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Onlinedrive will create your account using your Google profile information
  4. You choose your plan and storage region when you set up your first drive account

What Happens After Sign Up

When you create your account, Onlinedrive automatically:

  • Creates a drive account in your selected storage region, with a personal My Files area
  • Sets your storage quota from your plan (1 GB on the Free plan)

Choosing a Storage Region

Your storage region determines the physical location where your files are stored. Choose the region closest to you for the best upload and download speeds. Once selected, the region applies to every file in that drive account.

Onlinedrive has six storage regions: US West (Los Angeles), US East (Virginia), Canada (Montreal), UK (London), Europe (Frankfurt) and Asia Pacific (Singapore). You get one drive account per region; if you later add a drive account in another region, switch between them with the drive account switcher at the top of the sidebar.

Next Steps

After creating your account, we recommend:

  • Uploading your first file to test everything works
  • Creating folders to organize your files
  • Exploring the Files view to familiarize yourself with the interface
